The DC Office of Planning (OP) provides 30-year forecasts of Washington, DC's total population. OP developed the most recent forecast, called Round 10, based on the latest Census and administrative data. Round 10 continues to forecast growth but at a slower rate than the Round 9 forecast. The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments adoped the Round 10 forecast in the summer of 2023.
