In SY2025-26, total enrollment in public schools is highest in Ward 5, Wards 4, and 8. When filtered to DCPS schools, Ward 8 enrollment has declined since SY2017-18, while Ward 4 has the highest and has been generally rising. Public charter enrollment is highest in Ward 5 and has steadily increased over time. Users can also filter the vizualization by grade band to explore those trends.
